After months of searching, our casting directors have finally found the perfect actors for our cast. Here's a peek at the actors and who they portray:

Lina Mayfleet played by Eloise Webb

Who is Lina ?

Lina is one of the two main characters in the book. Lina is described as having long, dark hair, and being of average height with a slender build. She also has murky green/blue eyes.

Lina is an adventurous person who loves to run.

Doon Harrow played by Asher Angel

Who is Doon ?

Doon Harrow is one of the two main characters in the book. he is described as being tall with dark hair and straight, bushy eyebrows.

He can't take situations lightly, and can become tempered easily if provoked, accidentally or not. Doon is always angry, he tries to not think about the generator.

Poppy Mayfleet played by Harper Beckham

Who is Poppy ?

Poppy Mayfleet is Lina's lovable younger sister, and is about three or four, a toddler.

There isn't much known about her.

Evaleen Murdo played by Kelly Rutherford

Who is Mrs. Murdo ?

Evaleen Murdo is the second guardian of Lina and Poppy as well as their neighbor in Ember. She is described as being brisk and businesslike, but also very kind. She is like a mother to Lina and Poppy and cares about them very much.

Mayor Cole played by Richard Griffiths

Who is Mayor Cole ?

Mayor Cole is the main antagonist of the story. He is generally described as fat and greedy and has no interest in helping the city.

Lizzie Bisco played by Francesca Capaldi

Who is Lizzie ?

Lizzie is Lina's best childhood friend. She has flaming red hair and freckles. . She is found to be stealing rare foods and items with her boyfriend towards the end of the book. she is not a min character and little is known about her.

Clary Lane played by Oprah Winfrey

Who is Clary ?

Clary is an Emberite who was assigned to work in the Greenhouses of Ember. She was a close friend to Lina Mayfleet.
